As a matter of fact, I’ve designed websites for two of our NYS education powerhouses: NYSAPE and Long Island Opt-Out. And I proudly serve on the steering committee of both organizations. We have this mantra that we always say, “You’re more than a score,” and it dawned on me that there must be a way to show it. There must be a way that kids can demonstrate their passions, skills, and achievements in a way that’s more than a score or a checklist on a piece of paper.
What if kids can create their own portfolio websites and use them to show what they’re all about -- with pictures and videos and a place to write about themselves! They can have their own website that they can continually update and share with colleges, potential employers, teachers-- anyone who wants to get an idea of who they are and what they’re about.
BUT, it also has to be easy and affordable.

It’s still in the early beta stages, but if the above describes you (or your kid), I’m personally inviting you to give Virtual Me a shot. It’s super easy: choose a template, upload your content, grab a domain name. Done. Easy. Painless.
